As of July 1, 2014, Canada has implemented additional rules to protect Canadians from unsolicited emails, spam, and other electronic threats. You can find out more about these rules from the Government of Canada's information page, which includes information about your rights and frequently asked questions about spam. Visit www.fightspam.gc.ca to learn more.

Bell Aliant does not send marketing emails to non-customers, unless the individual has expressly asked for the information, in response to a referral or the individual subscribed to receive marketing emails. These individuals have the ability to unsubscribe from such emails at any time.

As part of our ongoing business relationship with customers, Bell Aliant will sometimes send marketing emails to our customers (including those who may have decided to leave us within the last two years). However, the customer has the ability to unsubscribe from such emails at any time. A customer who unsubscribes will not receive marketing emails, but may receive other emails that are related to their service (for example, confirmation of an appointment or reminder of a bill).
